The Centre of Technical & Vocational Training (CTVT) is promoted by the joint educational initiative of Kumar Properties Education Foundation (KPEF). The real estate industry has seen a big boom in the last few years. Hence, there is an increased need of skilled manpower at various levels. Although there are plenty of engineering and architectural colleges, it is tough to find skilled manpower which is still scare. Therefore, KPEF took an initiative whereby they aimed to bridge the gap and create a group of skilled and professional individuals in the field of construction. This led to the establishment of the independent, non-government organization called the CTVT. It is managed by a committee (IMC) nominated by the promoters and Mr. Rajas Jain, the Chairman. CTVT’s goal is to train and develop skills of individuals working in the building and construction sector. This includes supervisors, foremen, mechanics etc. In addition, CTVT conducts an Executive Development Program (EDP) for working executives. Furthermore, these programs are approved by the Government of Maharashtra and/ or other reputed international agencies. In conclusion, CTVT is a good option for those in need of skilled and competent manpower.
